Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program Registration OPEN!


Registration for the Action Zone Veterans Florida Entrepreneurship Program (VFEP) is open and accepting applicants for the 2019 session beginning February 22, 2019.


Eligible Veterans include:

  • Honorably discharged from a U.S. military branch, or

  • Active duty with a planned discharge within 1 year, or

  • Current or former National Guard or Reservist.

In addition, Veterans must reside in Florida, demonstrate an entrepreneurial interest, and fully participate in the Action Zone program.


Veterans must register on the Veterans Florida website and provide qualifying documentation.


Veterans Florida, a state-created organization, serves Veterans' employment, training and business development needs. The VFEP has hosted more than 1,100 Veterans in Florida that has resulted in nearly 200 new businesses and more than $22 million in revenue generated.


Action Zone is one of the six network partners across Florida and serves the Tampa Bay and surrounding region. The five-phase program is unique among the network, providing early stage entrepreneurs a well-rounded and dynamic program that teaches the methods of entrepreneurship that can be applied to their own business concepts.


The classes are capacity-controlled so Veterans interested in the program should apply as soon as possible.
